About Us
Norfolk Internet is an
ISP service provided by Wensum.net - a Norfolk-based Internet services
business originally founded in 1998. We provide broadband, web hosting,
communications and related services for small business and home
users across Norfolk and elsewhere in the UK.
As Wensum.net's client base
and product portfolio has expanded, its original business concept
of providing a purely personalised service for clients wishing to
establish a web presence evolved significantly. Norfolk Internet
has therefore been created in order to provide 'traditional' ISP
services, with Wensum.net concentrating on webdesign, ecommerce
site building and 'face-to-face' consultancy. 
As providers of ISP and hosting services, we are
registered members of trade regulator CISAS, providing users with
a valuable dispute resolution service should they be required.
 We
are members of our town's Chamber of Trade & Commerce and designed
and maintain their website. We also actively promote our town and
its business community on a voluntary basis via our local web portal.
Norfolk Internet's products and services are provided
in partnership with several carefully-chosen Teir1 providers. These
companies offer a combination of innovative products along with
a high level of experience and support. Our offerings are not chosen
on price alone, but primarily using the criteria of performance
and cost-effectiveness - providing good service levels as well as
value.
We have extensive experience in the hosting field,
having maintained clients' sites at their own ISPs such as Demon
and BT as well as providing our own Windows NT/2000 hosting for
clients for several years. Norfolk Internet hosting, though, has
since mid-2003 been Linux based, giving independent webmasters an
extremely wide range of quality features at low cost, using a shared
hosting environment.
Most products available via Norfolk Internet have
an automated secure online signup process, with web-based administration
where required. Each product has its own dedicated terms and conditions
of service, which you will need to agree to before completing your
order. We always strive to give a good level of support.

The office is just off the main market square in
Fakenham town centre (almost opposite Superdrug). Office hours are
9.30 - 5pm Mon-Fri. You are welcome to drop by for a visit,
although it's best to arrange an appointment if you need dedicated
time to discuss your requirements. Please not that the premises
are not disability-friendly, so we provide comprehensive online
contact facilities.
