BONDED ADSL
If a single ADSL connection doesn't provide enough speed for your
requirements, you can combine the speed of multiple ADSL connections
by 'bonding' them together. ADSL channel bonding works in exactly
the same way as ISDN channel bonding. The result is that you will
receive your broadband connection at up to four times the maximum
upload and download speed.
This solution is ideal for companies that need additional upstream
or downstream bandwidth but cannot justify leased line costs or
are unable to receive SDSL service.
A
routed address block of 8 IPs is included, 16 addresses are available
for an additional setup of £160.
Hardware
is included in the solution. Our specialist channel partner Entanet
will supply, configure, deliver and manage a Cisco 1841 router for
the 2 line solution, or a Cisco 2811 for the 3 and 4 line solutions.
In addition all lines on the connection are proactively monitored
24/7/365 via a dedicated Network Management System.

1 x PSTN line for each ADSL channel (new lines can be ordered
at the same time as your ADSL order).
Managed bonded ADSL is subject to a minimum 12
month contract.
Note: With BT's higher-speed ADSL services, due later this year,
32Mbps service would be achievable by using 4x bonded lines
connected to exchanges that have been enabled with 8Mbps ADSL
service. This upgrade programme is scheduled to roll out in
the last quarter of 2005. |
